I made this Red Velvet 9x13 cake for my church's Birthday party for Jesus on December 16 at the fellowship potluck dinner. Hope, peace, joy and love are representative of the four candles lit in the Advent season, as we await the arrival of the Christ child.

Fall Flowers

This cake is 1/3 chocolate, 1/3 Red Velvet and 1/3 white. There is vanilla pudding filling in the white cake and chocolate pudding filling in the other 2/3 of the cake. The cake is for a friend who turned 80 years old in October. She loves fall flowers. (The photo was taken with my phone, and is a little fuzzy!)

This is the first birthday cake I have made for my sister in years! It is an 8" round two layer yellow cake with each layer cut in half with strawberry filling. Each fall flower is at the top of a stem that starts at the base of the cake.

I made 15 different breads of the world for World Communion Sunday on October 3, 2010.
Sweden St. Lucia Buns; Germany Hearty Wheat Bread; Greece Giorti Psomi; Iraq Pita Bread; South Africa Kooksisters; Argentina Panettone; Mexico All Soul's Bread; Poland Egg Bread; Austria Raisin Stollen; Australia Outback Damper; Canada Wild Rice Bread; Italy Italian Herb; France French Bread; El Salvador Cheese Quesadilla; Challah Israel Bread.
Also brought was Pumpkin Bread in honor of the United States Pilgrims and Native Americans.

"Royal Blue" for my Son and Daughter-in-law


      This cake is white with strawberry buttercream filling. Each layer is cut in half with filling. It is a 12" bottom tier, 8" middle tier and 5.5" top tier. The ribbon around each tier is royal blue. I also made a 9"x13" sheet cake to serve just in case they needed it. This one was the perfect size! It served 75.
      This cake is very special to me, because it was made for my son and his bride, my new daughter-in-law! Wishing them the very best always!

This is a going away cake for Jessica who headed for NYC! This cake is 24"x18" to serve 100. This is white cake with Bavarian Cream and strawberrys filling. Icing is Cream Cheese. Wedding Rehearsal Dinner Cakes


These cakes are 9"x13" Red Velvet cakes, and a 6" square cake. Each cake is cut in half with Cream Cheese filling. The frosting is also Cream Cheese frosting. The "Tiger Lily" frosting flowers are made from Buttercream icing. It was a hit with the bride and groom and their families!

Luau Birthday Party

I made this 18"x24" cake for a Luau party at a retirement home in Branson! Half is chocolate with chocolate pudding filling and half is white with vanilla pudding filling.
When this cake was ordered, I got on the internet and found 5 photos of cakes with a Luau theme. Thanks to those who designed those cakes and helped me come up with this one! The person who ordered it was quite pleased!

These were done for "tasting" for guests at the Dutton Inn where a radio interview was done promoting the Southern Gospel Music Association's gathering coming up in July in Branson.
The Petit Fours are white with cherry filling and chocolate with chocolate cherry filling.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

I had the privilege of making this cake for a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at the "Treehouse" Clubhouse near Branson, MO. The cake was ordered by a Texas relative. I delivered it and put the finishing touches on it.
This cake is a 10", 8" and 5" tier. Each tier is 2-layer half chocolate and half white. The frosting color is Ivory decorated with white "lace" and drop flower with "scroll" design. The top tier has "gold shimmer dust" sprinkled on it with 4 large roses on top with ribbon from the middle.

Fire Cake!

Petit Fours - 80 of them!


These "Petit Fours" were made for the Christian Action Mission (CAM) Apreciation Luncheon at First Presbyterian Church, Branson, April 23, 2010.
The luncheon was for the Board, Staff, and Volunteers. CAM celebrated 25 years.
Each Petit Four is filled with strawberry or chocolate filling and covered with Poured Fondant icing.
Petit Fours are bite-size cakes which take an incredible amount of time to make and decorate, are lovely, and are gone in an instant!

Reuben's Life

Reuben turned 80 on April 17. His surprise party was the next day on Sunday. This cake is half chocolate, half white. The "movie reel" is chocolate. The movie "tape" has photos from throughout his life. The little church represents all the years he pastored Baptist churches. The "Bible" cake has his favorite verse on it: Hebrews 12:2.
