My Neighbor's Anniversary

This is a chocolate heart made for my neighbor's anniversary. They told me it was delicious.

 

Four Years Short of 60 Years

This is a 2-layer 7-inch round Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.

 

It was designed for a widow friend who was remembering that her husband died 4 years before they would have celebrated their 6oth. She and I celebrated together. She took the remainder of the cake home to enjoy with her family later.

 

"Ruby" Anniversary!

Our 40th Wedding Anniversary came: April 25, 2021! 

We had been looking forward to a big celebration with family and friends. We had prayed that Covid-19 would be winding down and it would be safe for us to celebrate.

Problem is: We got Covid in January. I experienced mild symptoms and recovered well. My husband died from it on February 16. We were able to share our love and gratitude for our 40 years together in a conversation before he could no longer speak. 

I love him so much and I miss him desperately. My children and I celebrated the special day with this cake which my "daughter" helped me make. Four of us enjoyed dinner together and shared cake. 

This cake is an 8-inch round Strawberry 3-layer cake with Cream Cheese Icing. The hearts are Rolled Fondant. 

 

39th Wedding Anniversary

This is the cake for my husband and my 39th wedding anniversary celebration. We celebrate this year in Quarantine! We are going to order dinner and have it delivered.

This cake is a 3-layer, 9" round Strawberry cake with Strawberry Cream Cheese frosting. Simple and delictious!

65 Years Together!

This is a 9" round 3-layer Pumpkin Cake with Cream Cheese Icing. On top of the icing on the sides are Sugar Sheets cut to the height of the cake. The hearts are Rolled Fondant made from marshmallows. I made three shades of blue hearts. The topper ornament is Sapphire Blue with a 65th Anniversary greeting and the date of their marriage. This was made for my uncle and aunt who live in Missouri. It was a wonderful celebration of a great milestone in their lives!

35th Anniversary

Our 35th Anniversary cakes. We celebrated on April 24. Yellow Rose cake is gluten free chocolate. Blue Rose cake is yellow cake. Both cakes are 8" rounds and have strawberry filling.

65th Wedding Anniversary!

 9"x13" half chocolate, half apple caramel cake to be served at a surprise celebration after worship on Sunday, January 10. The real surprise was that the couple did not make it to church to celebrate!

60th Wedding Anniversary

I had the honor of making the 60th Wedding Anniversary cake for Uncle R.C. and Aunt Marlene. The celebration was November 2, at the Senior Center in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
The cake is 12", 8" and 5". The layers are half yellow and half chocolate. The filling between layers is Peach. I got compliments on both looks and flavor!

These cupcakes were gluten free yellow cake, also with peach filling. (For those with wheat allergies.)

Celebrating 59 Years!

59th Anniversary cake for my wonderful uncle and aunt - November 3, 2012 was the celebration!

The top cake is a 8 " round 3-layer carrot cake with Cream cheese icing between the layers and covering the cake. The side cakes (8 inch and 6 inch) are pumpkin with Cream cheese icing; also cream cheese icing filled. The flowers are made with Butter Cream icing.
The cupcakes (there are 5 of them) are gluten free yellow cake with strawberry filling; decorated with Butter Cream icing. Yum! Yum!

58th Anniversary

This is an 11x7" Cherry Chip cake. The filling is cherry chocolate. Iced and decorated with Butter cream icing. Serves about 15.

60th Anniversary

This is a Chocolate 12"x18" sheet cake to serve 48-54 people. It is for a couple who celebrated at the Dutton Inn, Branson, MO on Saturday, July 24, 2010.

56th Anniversary

This is a 6" round chocolate cake, decorated for Ruth and Reuben who celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in Branson on July 24, 2010.

Another Branson 50th Anniversary Celebration! 10" and 5" tiers are white cake. 7" and 3" tiers are chocolate.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

I had the privilege of making this cake for a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at the "Treehouse" Clubhouse near Branson, MO. The cake was ordered by a Texas relative. I delivered it and put the finishing touches on it.

This cake is a 10", 8" and 5" tier. Each tier is 2-layer half chocolate and half white. The frosting color is Ivory decorated with white "lace" and drop flower with "scroll" design. The top tier has "gold shimmer dust" sprinkled on it with 4 large roses on top with ribbon from the middle.

20th and 25th Anniversary

20th Wedding Anniversary in Wichita, Kansas in 2001. Serves about 30.

50th Anniversary Cake

Good friends Harold and Emma Van Vleet celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, July of 2005. The double circle cake is a replica of their original wedding cake. It is 2 Angel Food cakes side by side, decorated with gold roses and leaves, and the orginal cake topper.
The tiered cake was served to relatives and friends who attended the anniversary party. This cake served about 150 guests. It was a special cake for special friends!
