This cake is a Red Velvet 8"-round two-layer cake with Cream Cheese frosting. It's made during Advent 2018 for a sad reason. I hope the cake brings some peace and joy to Austin's mother and siblings this season. Austin died in February or March --a victim of a tragic car accident where he was run over. Red Velvet was Austin's favorite cake flavor. Rest in peace Austin. You are loved and missed.
This is an 8"x8" gluten free chocolate cake made in remembrance of my brother-in-law whose birthday we celebrate now twice since he died in June of 2015. The cake is divided in half and there is chocolate filling including chocolate candy. The frosting is chocolate buttercream with dark chocolate bits sprinkled on top. We do miss you Don!
