Carrot Cake for Mark and Lora

This is an 8-inch round 3-layer Carrot Cake. I made it for Mark and Lora to enjoy at our last meal together before they went home. We shared it with Leslie, Wendy and their family as well. I forgot to take a picture before it was cut, but the layers look delicious and it was! The frosting is Cream Cheese.

 

Happy Birthday Grandma

We had all the letters made for the Butterfly cake: "Happy Birthday Grandma!" Then I invited my 4-year-old grandson to put them on the cake. And this is how he wanted the letters to be. We had such fun! The letters are Rolled Fondant. We served the Funfetti cake unfrosted, except for these letters, with whipped topping. I used White Grape Peach juice in the cake mix instead of water. It was very tasty!

"Trolls" Cake

My grandson turned three and we celebrated on October 13. He and I watch the cartoon "Trolls" together sometimes, and he wanted a "Trolls" party. So, I found many "Trolls" decorations and ordered this edible image from "Edible Cake Images" for his cake top. He was very excited about his party and his cake. His piece was "Poppy Troll." We all had a wonderful party with him!

The cake is 9"x13" half chocolate and half yellow with colored sprinkles baked in (all gluten-free). I put a rainbow of colors between the "layers." It was fun to eat!

35th Anniversary

Our 35th Anniversary cakes. We celebrated on April 24. Yellow Rose cake is gluten free chocolate. Blue Rose cake is yellow cake. Both cakes are 8" rounds and have strawberry filling.

Cook Out!

I made another "Grill" cake to take to my church's Cook out Lunch after church Sunday, May 17, 2015. It is 8" round double layer Yellow cake with strawberry filling and Buttercream icing.

Texas Birthday

This Texas shaped cake is a Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Icing and filling. It's for my Texas Lawyer son! So proud of him!

Carrot Cake for Auction

Three-layer Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese frosting between the layers and frosted with Cream Cheese Icing. Ground pecans, walnuts and almonds on the side. Butter Cream Icing "Carrots." Scored for 12 servings.
I took this cake to the church Cake Auction. It sold well!

Butterfly Birthday

This is another Butterfly Cake - Browned Butter Pear Cake with Butter Cream with Pear filling and Butter Cream icing. I took it to the church cake auction and my wonderful husband bought it back. We took it to my Aunt to celebrate her birthday!

This cake was to say thank you for service on the Praise Team at First Christian Church, Butler, MO. It is a 12x18 inch sheet cake, chocolate, strawberry and white. Serves 48-54.

Easter Butterfly

This is a "Brown Butter Pear Cake" made in the shape of a butterfly to represent resurrection and new life in Christ. I took it to Easter dinner at the home of a church friend. Happy Easter everyone!

This 11x7" strawberry cake with strawberry butter cream filling is for my Uncle's 77th birthday.

Girl Scouts Turns 100 Years Old!

This cake is a 24"x18" white sheet cake with Butter Cream Icing. Serves 100.  It celebrates the 100th year of the Girl Scouts. The reception was held at the Museum at the College of the Ozarks in Hollister, MO.

25 Year Appreciation

This cake is a 25 year celebration of Rod being music director at Branson Christian Church. The verses are from Psalm 150, The Message. The cake is 1/3 German Chocolate and 2/3 Carrol Cake. The frosting is Cream Cheese. Celebration was January 8, 2012!

Butterfly Birthday!

This Butterfly cake is for my husband's birthday. I was given the pan (below) for Christmas and had to try it out for the soonest birthday! The cake came out great and was fun to decorate. It is a "pear" cake which will serve around 15.

Super Mario Birthday!

Lucas turns 7 and loves Mario! This is a chocolate Mario cake which will serve 15 or so.

Chocolate Macadamia Cake - Samoa

This is one of the two cakes I served for the "Island Fire" meal catered by "CinnaRoll."  This is a 14"x14" inch cake, serving 42. Simi, from the "Island Fire" show taught me how to make this.

Key Lime Cake - Polynesian

This is one of the cakes served at the "Island Fire" Samoan meal catered by CinnaRoll for several weeks. This is a 12"x18" cake serving 48.

P.E.O. Cake

12"x12" inch half chocolate, half strawberry cake scored for 25 servings. Each serving has a "margaurite" flower and the P.E.O. acronym.

Luau Birthday Party

I made this 18"x24" cake for a Luau party at a retirement home in Branson! Half is chocolate with chocolate pudding filling and half is white with vanilla pudding filling.
When this cake was ordered, I got on the internet and found 5 photos of cakes with a Luau theme. Thanks to those who designed those cakes and helped me come up with this one! The person who ordered it was quite pleased!
