90 Years Loved

My Aunt Marlene turned 90 this year! the square cake is half chocolate and half white.

The top cake is Golden Yellow. This cake would make about 95 servings.

She loves to play Bingo and she likes Garfield. 

It was a nice party!

 

Barnyard Dance Birthday Cakes

Max turned 1 year old. One of his favorite books is

Barnyard Dance. The cake on the left is his "Smash" cake.

The other is for the other folks.

He did a great job with his cake--white and chocolate.

The animals are Rolled Fondant.

 

Cake made from Grandson's Drawing

Ethan drew me a picture of what he wanted for his January birthday.

He asked for vanilla, strawberry and chocolate.

I made a 6-layer 6" round cake with those flavors.

The tree, star, packages and snowflakes were what he drew.

He was excited about his cake. We had fun cutting it to serve.

 

Pokemon!

Ben asked for a Pokemon cake. 

This is a triple layer 7" white round cake.

He loved the cake and the figurines!

 

Peppa Pig

This is an 11x7 rectangle cake cut to shape Peppa Pig. This is what my grandson wanted for his 5th birthday. He was pleased.
 

Minecraft Birthday

This is an 11x7 white cake for my grandson's birthday. He loves Minecraft!

 

Bluey

This cake was for my grandson, Ethan's 4th Birthday! It's a Blue Velvet 11x7 cake with Peach Buttercream filling. Ethan liked Bluey on the cake and liked that the cake and the frosting turned his tongue blue! His big brother also enjoyed the blue cake with Bluey on it!
 

Flower Garden

This is a very chocolate cake made from 1 mix. The pan really could use 2 mixes as the "fence" around the edge didn't come through so well as I would have liked. The plan belonged to my sister. I've had some fun trying out all the special pans she had purchased through the years.

This cakes goes to my neighbor to celebrate her birthday. She's a wonderful neighbor! 

 

Spiderman!

My grandson is turning 7 in October and I get to celebrate his birthday with him on Sunday. I asked him what cake he would like. He told me chocolate cake. I asked him what theme he would like and he chose Spiderman. I sure hope he likes this Spiderman cake! 

The cake was made in the Superhero pan for Superman and/or Batman. I used two mixes to be sure to have a full cake. The icing is Buttercream. Can't wait to hear what he says when he sees it!

 

Birthday and Graduation

 This cake is a 9 x 13-inch white cake with Strawberry filling in the middle. It was a hit at the after church reception celebrating both birthday and the Education for Ministry Graduation for Mark Covey in Newark, New Jersey. 

I made this cake at my daughter's in Queens. It was fun to use her kitchen and her tools. 

Birthday Mickey!

 This is a strawberry cake made for my grandson's 3rd birthday and my 71st birthday. He was born 2 days after my birthday. We had such fun celebrating together! 

My daughter gave me this pan after our trip to Disney World Christmas 2021. Good times!

Pumpkin Patch Birthday

This 1 mix Chocolate Devil's Food cake was made for my neighbor. The icing is Cream Cheese. I used my sister's special cake pan. My neighbor and her husband and children all enjoyed it. It's great to have great neighbors!
