When I made this cake, I was at my parent's home. My mother gave me advice on how to do the star and it turned out so much better than the guide I was using! She was such an amazing help to me when I did cakes, and she encouraged me so much! I miss you Mom!

Grooms Cake

My first groom's cake in 1975. It is the same sizes as the bride's cake: 12", 10", 8".

Bride's Cake

This is the first wedding cake I ever made. 12", 10", 8" white cake. I made it in Lincoln, Nebraska and traveled to Council Bluffs, Iowa for the wedding.
