Ordination Cake

This is a 12-inch, half chocolate, half white double layer cake in honor of my friend, Carol Jolly. Her ordination was Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Goodland, KS. This cake serves about 50 people.
This cake traveled from Des Moines, Iowa, to Goodland, Kansas--just over 530 miles, and there was only 1 spot to repair! I also made and decorated 3 sheet cakes to serve at the reception.

This is the cake I made for my husband, John Park Winkler, Jr.'s 40th year in the ministry, which we celebrated August 5, 2007.
The cake is chocolate, white and strawberry. It served 100.
