This 90th birthday cake has a chocolate bottom layer and a strawberry top layer - 10" round. Will serve about 35 people.

Karlene and Glenda January Birthdays

My two nieces, Karlene and Glenda, celebrate January birthdays. The three of us sometimes celebrate together. Glenda's is 8" round double layer white cake. Karlene's is 11x7" chocolate. Both serve about 15.

Dulce DeLeche Cake

This cake is "Dulce de Leche" from a Buenos Aires, Argentina cake mix, covered with rolled fondant icing. This was a project I worked on with Amy when she spent Christmas and New Year's with us. I was able to show her how rolled fondant works, and this was the first rolled fondant bow for both of us! She did an amazing job!

10th Anniversary at Capitol Hill Christian Church for Pastor Candice Brown

Sunday, December 7, 2008 was the celebration of this event for Candice. The cake is a sheet cake of 2/3 chocolate, 1/3 yellow and the cross is Funfetti. Serves approximately 75.

Sidney likes to read, so I made her a book! This is an 11x7, half chocolate, half white cake. Serves about 15.

Patrick turned 3 years old on April 18. I hope he likes balloons! This cake is 8 inch, double layer chocolate. This will serve about 25 people.

Kassidy turned 11 years old on April 18! She loves all sports, but soccer is her favorite! The main cake is chocolate (11x7) and the soccer ball is white. This cake serves about 25.

Greg's Birthday Cake 2008

Greg wanted Anakin Skywalker before he became Darth Vador for his 5th birthday cake. Anakin is frosting painted on white cake. Serves 20-24.

Halie's Sweet Sixteen 2008

Halie's Sweet 16 cake is 2 tiers -- 8 inch on top of 10 inch. Serves approximately 35-40. She chose yellow cake with chocolate frosting. There are 16 yellow roses!

Jim's Birthday cake 2008

Jim turned 10 on September 28! He requested an Indiana Jones theme. The weapons are a whip, machete, and sword. It says "Happy Birthday Jim" on the side in front. This is a 9x13 cake, half chocolate and half white. Will serve up to 24.
