Ordination Cake

This is a 12-inch, half chocolate, half white double layer cake in honor of my friend, Carol Jolly. Her ordination was Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Goodland, KS. This cake serves about 50 people.
This cake traveled from Des Moines, Iowa, to Goodland, Kansas--just over 530 miles, and there was only 1 spot to repair! I also made and decorated 3 sheet cakes to serve at the reception.

The cake is chocolate, white and strawberry. It served 100.

Merry Christmas Nativity 2006

This Nativity is the 2nd one I have done. The stable is from Gingerbread, and the other cookies are sugar cut out cookies. Some of the characters have toothpicks to help them stand up. The manger and Mary and Joseph are standing alone. I gave this nativity to my niece and her 4 girls.
