Fall Flowers

This cake is 1/3 chocolate, 1/3 Red Velvet and 1/3 white. There is vanilla pudding filling in the white cake and chocolate pudding filling in the other 2/3 of the cake. The cake is for a friend who turned 80 years old in October. She loves fall flowers. (The photo was taken with my phone, and is a little fuzzy!)

This is the first birthday cake I have made for my sister in years! It is an 8" round two layer yellow cake with each layer cut in half with strawberry filling. Each fall flower is at the top of a stem that starts at the base of the cake.

Breads of the World

I made 15 different breads of the world for World Communion Sunday on October 3, 2010.
Sweden St. Lucia Buns; Germany Hearty Wheat Bread; Greece Giorti Psomi; Iraq Pita Bread; South Africa Kooksisters; Argentina Panettone; Mexico All Soul's Bread; Poland Egg Bread; Austria Raisin Stollen; Australia Outback Damper; Canada Wild Rice Bread; Italy Italian Herb; France French Bread; El Salvador Cheese Quesadilla; Challah Israel Bread.
Also brought was Pumpkin Bread in honor of the United States Pilgrims and Native Americans.

"Royal Blue" for my Son and Daughter-in-law


      This cake is white with strawberry buttercream filling. Each layer is cut in half with filling. It is a 12" bottom tier, 8" middle tier and 5.5" top tier. The ribbon around each tier is royal blue. I also made a 9"x13" sheet cake to serve just in case they needed it. This one was the perfect size! It served 75.
      This cake is very special to me, because it was made for my son and his bride, my new daughter-in-law! Wishing them the very best always!

This is a going away cake for Jessica who headed for NYC! This cake is 24"x18" to serve 100. This is white cake with Bavarian Cream and strawberrys filling. Icing is Cream Cheese. Wedding Rehearsal Dinner Cakes


These cakes are 9"x13" Red Velvet cakes, and a 6" square cake. Each cake is cut in half with Cream Cheese filling. The frosting is also Cream Cheese frosting. The "Tiger Lily" frosting flowers are made from Buttercream icing. It was a hit with the bride and groom and their families!

This is an oval yellow cake made into 4 layers with Strawberry filling between each layer. I decorated it with a red, white and blue theme because my uncle's birthday is in July and he is a veteran.

This is one of the two cakes I served for the "Island Fire" meal catered by "CinnaRoll."  This is a 14"x14" inch cake, serving 42. Simi, from the "Island Fire" show taught me how to make this.
